Discover how Soliseco works

Check the different possible configurations based on your heating and hot water production system.

Electric hot water tank

How it works

Soliseco continuously adjusts the heating power to recover the surplus photovoltaic energy via the smart meter.

As soon as the sunlight is sufficient, Soliseco ensures 100% solar hot water production, without any backup.

Soliseco is equipped with a temperature sensor. A schedule allows you to set the required temperature based on the time of day, ensuring hot water at all times while maximizing the use of photovoltaic energy.

Boiler without tank

How it works

Soliseco continuously adjusts the heating power to recover the surplus photovoltaic energy and store it in the solar tank.

The solar hot water is then mixed with non-solar hot water to ensure water at the right temperature at all times. The boiler only starts when the solar hot water is no longer sufficiently hot.

Boiler with tank (without electric resistance)

How it works

Soliseco continuously adjusts the heating power to recover the surplus photovoltaic energy and store it in the tank.

The Soliseco heater will overheat the water in the tank with photovoltaic energy. The boiler will only turn on if the water in the tank is no longer sufficiently hot.

Boiler with tank and electric resistance

How it works

Soliseco continuously adjusts the heating power to recover the surplus photovoltaic energy and store it in the tank.

Soliseco heats the water in the buffer tank to a maximum temperature (e.g., 65°C). The boiler will only turn on if the temperature drops below a certain limit (e.g., 42°C).

Heat pump

How it works

Soliseco continuously adjusts the heating power to recover the surplus photovoltaic energy and store it as heat in the tank.

Soliseco raises the temperature of the water in the tank using the electric resistance. The heat pump will only start if the water temperature drops below the operating threshold defined in the installation.

Hot water and combined heat

How it works

Soliseco continuously adjusts the heating power to recover excess photovoltaic energy to store it as hot water in the tank and to generate heat to warm your home.

Soliseco raises the temperature of the water in the tank using the electric heater and redistributes the excess photovoltaic energy to your heating.

(the operating threshold is defined during installation)
